Weddings and events
A house that was already a venue before anyone called it one
Receptions on the multi-level deck beside the pool, dinner under the covered porches, and everyone staying the night in the same house rather than scattering to hotels.
What the house can hold
Seated dinner
Thirty indoors around the dining room and kitchen table. Sixty under the covered porches. A tent beside the pool for anything larger.
Everyone stays
Twenty beds across nine private sleeping areas, plus the guest house room. The wedding party wakes up where the wedding was.
Up to 99 attendees
Agreed in advance, under a separate event agreement and fee. Tell us the shape of the day and we will tell you honestly whether the house suits it.
Catering
Estate catering is available and recommended. Outside caterers are welcome with advance approval, proof of insurance, and a kitchen fee. A kitchen fee applies, based on the size of the group, the menu, and the serving style — buffet, sit-down, use of the kitchen, or a specialty food vehicle.
Our most popular specialty is Texas-style BBQ brisket. More than one guest, eating it for the first time, has described it as almost a spiritual experience.
The grounds
A private pool nobody overlooks, a fire pit, gardens, a vine arbor with ceiling fans, and a circular drive for arrivals.
Church and non-profit rates
Special pricing for church groups and non-profit leadership retreats. Ask when you enquire.
Book a wedding, get the lake house
